Dimensioning of the photovoltaic system is done to suit your own electricity consumption. In practice, however, on sunny days, the system often produces more electricity than it needs. The Fronius Ohmpilot is a controller designed to use excess solar energy to heat water. Thanks to the automatically controlled 0 to 9 kW regulation, the surplus power of the PV can be used very efficiently and fed to household consumer devices. Fronius Ohmpilot is primarily used for the intelligent control of heating elements to produce hot water in hot water heaters and boilers. Solar energy can thus take care of most of the hot water in spring and summer.
